We started swimming lessons this year and Isaiah was so excited to go. Once he got in the water I think he changed his mind. His teacher was a no nonsense type of girl. My favorite kind! So she made him do everything she asked and ignored his whining and crying. I tried to stay hidden the whole time and take pictures too. That is a hard thing to do! There was only time to get in 4 lessons before we took off for vacation. He did alot of kicking, blowing bubbles, swallowing water, jumping in, going under and whining! We worked in the bath tub or shower every night on how to keep playing when he gets water on his face. We practiced wiping the water from his face so that he could learn to keep going during swim lessons and not get freaked out. He did improve by the 4th lesson and had a good time. We will try again next year and just keep getting better and stronger.
