Teaching Isaiah about the Lord and His love for us has been a huge priority of ours these last few years, especially when we know that Isaiah can understand alot of what we are teaching him at this age. He just soaks it in and learns so much. He loves his Beginner's Bible and it has really been a great tool for me to read his stories from the Bible and have pictures to go with it. The next book I look forward to is the Jesus Storybook Bible. This book is so rich and is the spoken Truth, just in story form. Isaiah will start that soon and will learn more depth about the stories he has already heard. The last book that we have on our shelf is the Jesus Calling devotions for kids. I had recently purchased the Jesus Calling book for myself and have enjoyed the devotions written for adults. One week at a MOPS meeting we received a special gift from Holly Betenbough. She had purchased a devotional book for each of us to take home to our kids! And mine was the exact one I had wanted for Isaiah! When he is a few years older, we can start reading his devotional together and have fun going through our Jesus Calling books together.
