Grandaddy was a special man to many and my boys fell in love with him immediately. Isaiah especially loved him. He always asked to go see him. He talked about Grandaddy so much. During one of our trips to Lamesa, Grandaddy gave Isaiah this green VW Bug. I almost started crying. This was such a special thing for Grandaddy to give one of his cars away. Isaiah knew the special gift he had just received and has always treasured this car. It sits on a special shelf so it doesn't get broken. Weeks later, he gave Isaiah 2 more little cars. We all know in this house that these 3 cars represent more than just toys. We value these things that remind us of Grandaddy. We will miss him so much.
