Isaiah is still loving his reward jars we have had for a while. He is really starting to understand what it takes to be nice to his brother, behave at dinner, brush his teeth each day, read his Bible, talk correctly like a big boy and go to sleep like a big boy. We have mastered most of the things we set out to work on. What I am so proud of him for now is the fact that he is understanding that sometimes you have to work for something in order to get it. He is understanding that he will not be handed everything immediately when he wants it. And he is seeing that if he sets a goal of filling up his jar in order to receive a certain prize, he really works hard at it. When he fills up his jar this time, he wants to go get a "merf gun" (nerf gun) at Walmart. He has known for a while that this was what he wanted and he has worked toward this goal. He is now up to his 3rd line, which means he gets to do something fun with Amy. They went to Legacy Play Village and played hard for a few hours. It was such a treat for him and he loves getting to do things like that. It is the simple things that really mean alot to kids. Now he is back to business and working hard to fill his jar to the top. Watch out Daddy & Drew, Isaiah will be armed and dangerous in the near future.
