This year Christmas was a little bit different for us. My mom had a major surgery on Dec. 14th and so we spent 1 day with Kyle's family for Christmas and then the rest of our time in Amarillo taking care of my mom in the hospital. Her recovery took longer than planned so we spent Christmas in the hospital with her. In the middle of all that, my sister, dad Kyle and I all got sick sick. It wasn't a fun time. Thank the Lord Isaiah didn't get it. We spent 2 weeks staying at my Aunt Mary and Uncle Roy's house. It was so great to have a place to stay and beds to ourselves. Isaiah got to stay there and play with Milo the cat all day while we were at the hospital. It was an exhausting holiday, but we all got through it.
