Well, the holidays were wonderful but oh so exhausting. The rest and relaxation was sort of there mixed in with all the stress of going and going and driving and driving. Then throw in a little baby one month old and the stress increases. Needless to say, all 3 of us were tired and worn down by the time we made it back to our own house after 9 days of traveling.
We so enjoyed getting to show Isaiah off to all our family and introduce him to the ones he hadn't met before. Being out at Ransom Canyon with the Kirkland's, then to Clovis with the Pearce's, off to Gruver with the Watley's, then lastly to Lamesa with the Igo's was all such a blessing to us. We have realized once again how rich with family we are--the kind of richness only the Lord can bring. We were showered with gifts and Isaiah even received some. What can I say--it was a pretty good Christmas!!
Now that we are home, we are so thankful to be here. We didn't realize how much we would miss our own home since we have Isaiah with us. He seems to do better here at his house and in his room. We are enjoying watching Dad coach his JV and Varsity teams and now we are enjoying getting to just be here and play with Isaiah. He is growing by the day and changes so much every time I look at him. Right before my eyes, he is becoming a little kid instead of my little baby.
Thanks to all you guys who made this Christmas wonderful and who helped us with Isaiah--giving us breaks to sleep and get caught up from the chaos of it all. We loved getting to see each of you and look forward to the next time. Thanks and God bless. Happy New Year.
