Every other year we head up to Gruver for the 4th of July celebration they have. It is so wonderful and I'm so proud to be from this small Texas town! We started the festivities off with a volleyball tournament last night. Kyle played on a team, played until midnight and ended up 3rd place. It was exciting and always fun to see everyone playing and having fun! Then this morning was started off with the bike races. My friend Missy's son was in one of the races. He was all business and had 1st place on his mind!
While we waited for the parade to start, Drew put on his own photo shoot and posed for me! What a cutie!
As the parade started down the street, Isaiah and Calvin waited patiently for it to finally get to us and they were both ready for some candy.

We enjoyed the whole parade, but here were just a few pictures I took.

After the parade we played at the park on all the kids rides and enjoyed the fun activities there. There were tons of things for the kids to do. It was amazing.

Then after we had a BBQ lunch at the park, the boys took naps and we went out and played again. Then that night we drove to Spearman to Grandad shop and popped fireworks.
Drew spent his time playing in the gravel, but he loved it of course!
We had snappers, smoke bombs, and many other fireworks. Isaiah loved every minute of it. This was his first time to actually light them himself.

We had a great time in Gruver and we can't wait for the next time we get to celebrate the 4th of July up there again!
