Locked in the car

Our latest adventure happened this Saturday morning. Kyle decided to take Isaiah with him to go workout. Isaiah loves it and thinks he is so special and big when he gets to go. Kyle loaded him up and put him in his carseat and then handed Isaiah his key ring to play with all the keys. Isaiah loves to do this. Well, as soon as Kyle shut the door Isaiah found the keyless entry and happened to press the lock button! My keys were also in the car inside the diaper bag! So we panicked for about 10 seconds and then just began to laugh. Isaiah was having a blast and knew he had done something pretty funny. He kept pressing the lock button because it made the horn honk. Kyle tried to talk to Isaiah through the glass and get him to move his finger down the keyless entry to the "unlock" button while I got on the phone with Nissan. Nissan was about to send someone to the house to help us when I hear Kyle scream, "He did it!" and then I saw him run as fast as he could around the car to the driver's side door to open the door before Isaiah locked it again. It was hilarious! Now granted, if we were outside somewhere on a 100 degree day we would not have been so carefree about it all. But being in our own garage and knowing that help was on the way to get him out, it was quite a funny situation and we still laugh about it today!
