Last week Amy brought us a box so we could work on sitting up with Isaiah. He loved the box and it really worked on his balance. The pictures below show the progression he has made in as little as a week! Kyle and I went to San Antonio for 5 days and when we left Isaiah was sitting in the box and figuring it out. While we were there, he started sitting up just briefly by himself. When we returned, he was sitting alone for LONG periods of time! What a difference a week makes!!!!
Isaiah loves sitting in his box. He is pretty proud of his new toy.
He became pretty good at balancing himself while he was sitting in the box.
We received this picture while we were in San Antonio. He could sit up just long enough for a picture to be taken.
And now look at him--sitting straight up and keeping himself from falling over.
As you can tell from this last picture, he loves sitting up. It's a whole new world to him now! No more just looking at the ceiling while laying on his back! The only thing left is to get on those knees and start going after the things he gets to see around the room now. What a happy little boy!! This was a great Mother's Day treat! My little guy is growing quickly.
